ARCS Courier Workshop

Curious about courier do’s and don’ts? Join us on March 12-13 in Fort Worth as ARCS presents a pair of one-day workshops designed to equip both individual couriers and their trainers with tools needed to strengthen your couriering skills, and learn how to train others for the journey. This course is tailored to a US audience, in collaboration with the European Registrars Group.

December #ARCSchat Update

For December's #ARCSchat, we wish to compliment the November interview with Joan Baldwin of Leadership Matters and the Gender Equity in Museums Movement (GEMM) with her keynote address that she gave at the ARCS Conference in Philadelphia last month. Please enjoy her unedited presentation by streaming or downloading the podcast from the ARCS website, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Stitcher which we will publish later this week. As a result, ***there will be no live session on Tuesday, December 3***.

#ARCSchat will return live on January 7 at 8pm EST with the YouTube Live session and host Michelle Millar Fishar (@AMTransparency), one of the founders of the Art and Museum Salary Spreadsheet, the Internship spreadsheet, and, most recently, a Union spreadsheet. She has vehemently advocated in favor of museum staff through these viral spreadsheets as well as through her public speaking and writing. She will join us to discuss the wide range of labor disputes happening in the museum and collections field and how it relates to collection stewardship.
