Description

Understanding the history and range of formats within audiovisual records allows professionals to meet the unique challenges presented by time-based media collections.  This webinar will provide an introduction to media formats that are common (and not-so-common) in archives, libraries, and museums, so that participants can begin prioritizing and preserving these physical media.  Basic description, proper storage, and safe handling of audiovisual collections will be discussed.
