Elena D Sanderlin


Elena Sanderlin is an independent registrar/ collections manager. She graduated from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science in 2007 and a Master of Arts degree in History with a concentration in Public History and Museum Management in 2009 from Middle Tennessee State University. Elena also earned a certificate in Collection Management Policies for Cultural Institutions from the Northern States Conservation Center in 2012, Conservation and Care of Historic Ceramics from City of Angels Conservation in 2018, and has presented at several museum conferences. She has worked for The Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses in New Orleans, Louisiana, The Florida Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. Elena currently lives in Cumming, Georgia with her husband and two children, working as a contract registrar and collections manager, and teaches Museum Registration online. Elena specializes in museum registration, policy writing, database management, collection management care, condition reporting, and artifact installation.
