Economic Hardship Support

An initial review of the ARCS October 2020 Covid-19 Employment Impact Survey results revealed that our membership is in need of advocacy, support and community. Forty-seven percent of respondents to the survey have had their employment affected by the pandemic and many members are still at risk of losing employment or burn out from the increase of duties resulting in the reduction of staff. 

With that in mind the ARCS Board of Directors and Membership Advocacy Committee have devised new membership payment options to help off-set the hardship of this time. Please see below for your options and if you have any questions please contact us at

New and Renewing ARCS Members

Available for 2021 only to Individuals, Retirees, and Students whose employment or benefits have been impacted by COVID-19: pay what you are able to for a year’s membership. Please contact to arrange for a Pay What You Can membership.

Those whose employment has not been unduly affected by COVID-19 are encouraged to renew at the regular membership rate. And, if you feel inspired to further assist ARCS in supporting our community, please consider donating additionally so that we may offer this Pay What You Can membership model.
