 oe Collins\, Founder/Director of Artiphile\, New York\, NYMaura Kehoe Col
 lins is founder and director of Artiphile\, an independent art advisory f
 irm specializing in art collections management services. Established in 1
 991 to promote the conscientious stewardship of cultural property\, Artip
 hile is primarily concerned with the preservation of artistic and histori
 c works held in collections outside museums. Artiphile implements museum-
 standard procedures for inventory\, cataloguing and condition surveys as 
 the cornerstone for the proper maintenance of any type of art collection\
 , large or small\, attending to all needs from acquisition to disposition
 . Collins graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in Art History a
 nd a minor in Asian Studies acquired during 14 months of study in Taiwan 
 and The People’s Republic of China. In 1990 Collins switched from the pub
 lic to the private sector assisting a dealer of contemporary works of art
  in New York.  The association demonstrated art collectors’ need for grea
 ter access to professional advice in the care and management of their col
 lections.  Collins has since applied her unique background to providing p
 rivate collectors\, artists\, institutions\, foundations\, estates\, and 
 corporations access to tailored\, museum-quality art collections manageme
 nt counsel.   She enjoys speaking on the topic of stewardship\, teaching\
 , and mentoring young professionals.\nCatalina Corpas\, Catalina Collecti
 on Management\, LLC\, Miami\, FL Catalina Corpas is an art historian and 
 independent art collection manager in Miami\, Florida. She has twenty-fiv
 e years of extensive hands-on experience working with private collections
 . Since 2002 she has provided all aspects of collection management care f
 or private collections in Miami\, New York\, Venice\, and Paris. Catalina
  currently oversees the proper care and prudent stewardship of collection
 s\, including antiques\, large-scale sculptures\, paintings\, drawings\, 
 and a comprehensive collection library. Her work experience also includes
  positions held in galleries and museums. Catalina holds a B.A. in Organi
 zational Communications and an M.A. in Art History from the University of
  Miami\, where she was a graduate teaching assistant. After completing he
 r education\, she taught art history at the University of Miami\, Florida
  International University\, Barry University\, the Bass Museum\, Lowe Art
  Museum\, and several other institutions. A life-changing visit to the Ar
 t Institute of Chicago in 1995 ignited Catalina’s great passion to protec
 t and preserve our cultural heritage. She greatly values her long-standin
 g collaboration with collectors and the art they entrust to her care. \nS
 arah Tignor\, VP of The Johnson Collection\, Spartanville\, SC Serving as
  the Johnson Collection’s Chief Operating Officer\, Sarah Tignor holds an
  Art History undergraduate degree from Converse University and a Master o
 f Arts in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Her curatorial wo
 rk is focused on 20th-century artists from the American South\, arts conn
 ected to the experimental enclave of Black Mountain College\, and mid-cen
 tury women creators. Located in Spartanburg\, South Carolina\, the Johnso
 n Collection offers an extensive survey of artistic activity in the Ameri
 can South from the late eighteenth century to the present. A private coll
 ection of more than 1\,400 works\, the collection seeks to advance public
  interest and academic scholarship in the dynamic role that the art of th
 e South plays in the larger context of American art.\nModerator\nBarbara 
 Chamberlain\, Director of Art Collection Management\, Private Client Sele
 ct Barbara joined Private Client Select (formerly AIG Private Client Grou
 p) in 2008 and became a Director of Art Collection Management in 2010. Sh
 e has more than 27 years of experience in private\, public\, and corporat
 e collections\, museums\, and galleries\, plus knowledge of library and a
 rchival science. Today she provides collections management and care\, ris
 k management\, and loss prevention services to policyholders. She is a me
 mber of the Executive Board of the Friends of the Uffizi Gallery\, the Bo
 ard of Directors for the Association of Registrars and Collections Specia
 lists (ARCS)\, and an ArtTable Florida Chapter Leader. Barbara holds a Ba
 chelor of Arts in Art History and Psychology from Smith College. She earn
 ed a Master of Arts in Museum Studies at Johns Hopkins University\, where
  she now teaches the first course in private collectors\, collections\, a
 nd museums.
