Inventory, Inspections, and Research Services for personal property appraisers and other art professionals, as well as acting as an independent cataloguer/archivist for Artists, Artists’ Estates and Private Collections. Includes inspecting, cataloging, photographing, and creating documentation for artworks on-site, and researching artists’ signatures, biographies and sales histories. Besides working regularly on projects with many California Fine Art/Personal Property Appraisers, my past and ongoing clients include numerous Bay Area artists and collectors, as well as the Estates of painters Joan Brown, Elmer Bischoff, Dorr Bothwell, Julius Hatofsky, and George Miyasaki; the Estate of ceramic artist Viola Frey (through the Artists Legacy Foundation); and the late conceptual artist David Ireland’s home and contents at 500 Capp Street in San Francisco.
