About

I have over thirty years of collections and registration experience gained from a Master of Arts degree in Public History, Museum Studies, and Cultural Resources Management, graduate-level internships in history museums and with the National Park Service, and a career including several years as an archaeologist and lab assistant and over twenty-two years in registration and exhibitions at fine-arts museums.  In addition I have provided collections consulting services for private clients and major corporate clients, including a years-long project involving processing, cataloging, transporting, and storing a major collection of films, photographs, and ephemera.

I am available for consulting about collections care and storage, collections organization, collection display and hanging, cataloging, inventory, and documentation, condition evaluation and documentation, collections and exhibitions-related policy and procedure, insurance coverage, application for U.S. Arts and Artifacts Indemnity, application for U.S. Immunity from Judicial Seizure, domestic and international courier services, fine-arts packing and transportation logistics, and exhibition development and coordination.

I am familiar with the arts world and contacts in Nashville, TN, Richmond, VA, and around the southeast. I currently have an office in Richmond and will travel. Resume and professional references will be provided upon request.
