Based on this year's virtual conference theme, we want to look at the many ways we can Synergize our work. We want to explore how relationships and partnerships - both planned or unexpected - achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. We are interested in topics that include:
- Collaboration strategies with partners
- Projects that changed because you found balance with a colleague or a collaborator
- Development of more effective and efficient workflows
- Projects that promote and foster relationships between the museum collections, staff, and the community
Proposals are due no later than 5:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, April 19, 2024.

Emergency Webinar: Notre Dame Lessons Learned from Recovery to Relationships and Planning between Firefighters and Cultural Heritage Professionals
Working with First Responders and Collections Prioritization Plans: Collections stewards have many titles and include many specialties, including anyone who supports the care and protection of collection items including registrars, collections managers, conservators, archivists, facility managers, security officers, and firefighters. This presentation will focus on the Notre Dame fire and what the fire fighters learned from this and other disasters concerning cultural heritage, and will also address the process of collections prioritization and emergency extraction procedures that was created in collaboration between firefighters and cultural heritage partners.
