Rochester Hills Museum At Van Hoosen Farm Launches Online Collection, Newspaper Archive

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm has made a portion of their historical collections available online for researchers, students, and local residents to utilize and enjoy. Over 7,000 catalog records have been uploaded to the online database using a museum cataloging software called PastPerfect. These collections include archival photographs, documents, and objects related to the greater Rochester area and the Taylor/Van Hoosen family. To access the online collection, visit www.rochesterhills.pastperfectonline.com. In addition, the Rochester Hills Museum has digitized their collection of Rochester Era newspapers dating from 1873-1949 and made it available on the Oakland County Historical Resources website.
