The Association of Registrars and Collection Specialists invites you to join us at our 2025 conference to share bold, ambitious, and unique actions through ideas of interconnectedness, listening, and caretaking in service of the care of our collections in the PRESENT tense.

Breakout/Roundtable Applications

Attendees to the ARCS 2025 Conference in St. Louis are now able to apply to host a breakout or roundtable discussion during certain mealtimes during the conference.

What are breakouts and roundtables?

  • A Breakout is a facilitated, focused discussion centered around a topic meant for an audience of about 30 attendees.
  • A Roundtable is a casual, social discussion among allied professionals/peers for up to 8 people per table.

Attendees are asked to submit their idea for one of these programs by August 15 for consideration of being added to the official schedule. 

*Please note: If you apply for one of these sessions, you are expected to be in attendance at the conference and host the session you are proposing.

Travel Stipend Announcement

ARCS is pleased to announce the availability of 15 professional and 5 student, $1000 stipends for the 2025 ARCS Conference. 

Recipients agree to write a short review of a session. The specific session will be mutually agreed upon and coordinated by an Awards Committee member prior to the conference and the report will be due to ARCS in January 2026.

Requirements for Application

  • Applicants for this stipend must be current members of ARCS in good standing. 
  • Recipients will be required to register for the conference before a stipend is awarded. 
  • Selection of the recipients will be based upon demonstrated merit, dedication to their profession, and financial need. 
  • Awardees will be notified by mid-September 2025.
