Conference Committee

The Conference Committee organizes and manages all aspects of the yearly ARCS conferences - both virtual and in-person.  They are responsible for the intellectual content of conferences, including sessions, posters, and keynotes speakers.  Additionally they establish the conference themes, manage the calls for session proposals from the membership, and partner with other ARCS Committees (e.g. Awards, Global Connections, Meetups, Program Development, and Education) on conference content creation.

Our mission

The mission of ARCS is to represent and promote registrars and collection specialists, to educate the profession in best practices of registration and collections care, and to facilitate communication and networking.
