About
Background in psychology/counseling with an M.A. in Education; worked in database systems development for many years and made pottery; first worked in museums as an assistant in object conservation labs in the Boston area; first registration job was Associate Registrar at the Worcester Art Museum starting in 2001, then Registrar at WAM in 2003-2010. Head Registrar at Rhode Island School of Design Museum of Art fall of 2010 through summer 2016. Completed a certificate program through RISD Continuing Education for Appraisal Studies. Retired Feb 2023 from the Smith College Museum of Art, Collection Manager/Registrar, 2016-2023. Available in the northeast for contract work - policy reviews, collection inventories, courier work, exhibition loans/installation/shipping management.
