Kathrine DePetris

About

Kate DePetris focuses on applying museum standards to the bespoke management of private, corporate, and institutional fine art collections, with an international network of resources (crating, transportation, installation, conservation, and storage vendors).  Born and raised in Dallas, she studied studio art at Booker T. Washington, and obtained her bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of North Texas in 2011. Kate began her career in fine arts administration and logistics at Artemis Fine Art Services, where she grew an extensive client base and took on exceedingly complex projects. After two years, Kate moved to New York to work as a Project Manager for Crozier Fine Arts, where she gained hands-on experience in international fine art shipping. From there, she became Registrar for Lehmann Maupin, facilitating studio, gallery inventory, and private consignments on behalf of a dynamic international roster of forty contemporary artists. She has since worked with private and corporate Dallas and New York-based collections, acting as steward of more than 7,500 objects across multiple properties.
