Kate DePetris' focus is on applying museum standards to the bespoke management of private, corporate, and institutional fine art collections, with an international network of resources at her disposal (crating, transportation, installation, conservation, and storage vendors). Born and raised in Dallas, she studied studio art at Dallas’ Arts Magnet high school, Booker T. Washington, and obtained her bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of North Texas in 2011. Kate began her career in fine arts administration and logistics at Artemis, where she grew an extensive client base and took on exceedingly complex projects. After two years, Kate moved to New York to work as International Project Manager for Crozier Fine Arts. From there, she became Registrar for Lehmann Maupin, facilitating studio, gallery inventory, and private client consignments on behalf of a dynamic international roster. She then worked with private and corporate New York-based collections, acting as steward of more than 7,500 objects across multiple properties. With nine years’ experience in the field, Kate has developed creative organizational, project management, and problem solving skills.
