2021 Virtual Conference

We are not static institutions. We are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our community and the collections we care for. Today, we are faced with formidable challenges such as COVID-19 and the new health and safety concerns it has brought as well as the fast-paced rise of technology requiring consideration for the integration of current and future technologies in the museum space. We also see an unprecedented opportunity for evolution through the investigation, experimentation, and incorporation of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA), social justice, and decolonizing principles to promote cross-cultural understanding and acceptance.

Evolution will have the most content and experiences ever offered by ARCS, with four pre-conference workshops, 37 confirmed sessions, 15 poster presentations, virtual vendor tables, breakout rooms, roundtables, networking opportunities, and much more!
