2023 Private Collections

An incredible amount of our cultural, historical, and scientific heritage can be found in private collections and outside the protective sphere of public institutions. Numbering in the tens of thousands in just the U.S., private collections span a great variety of objects reflecting the wide range of enthusiasts who collect them. This webinar will explore private collections and how they are like—and unlike—public institutions and what that means for the professionals tasked with managing them.
